Larry Pozner For more than 25 years Larry Pozner has been recognized as North America’s authority on advanced cross-examination techniques. His book Cross Examination: Science and Techniques (Lexis, Pozner and Dodd) is now in its 3rd edition and is America’s all-time bestselling book on cross. Pozner on Cross lectures are unique. His Chapter Method of cross-examination has become the standard methodology adopted by public defender systems, the largest commercial law firms, and individual trial lawyers in all fields of litigation including commercial cases, personal injury, criminal defense, and family law. Pozner on Cross builds on the newest studies of neuroscience and Nobel Prize winning consumer behavior research that we can employ in cross-examination. These techniques allow us to efficiently build powerful cross-examinations and win cases we had thought beyond reach. Larry began his career in the Colorado Public Defender system. He founded a premier criminal defense firm, and then a firm handling both plaintiff and defense sides of complex civil matters as well as criminal defense of all manner of offenses. For many years Larry represented the Denver Broncos franchise in trials including the lawsuit challenging Pat Bowlen’s purchase of the team. Larry won, which is why he could remain in Colorado. Larry is a Past-president of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. He is listed in Best Lawyers in America for Bet-the-Company litigation, and in Criminal Defense, both White Collar and Non-White Collar crimes. Pozner on Cross has taken Larry to 48 states3 throughout Canada, and strangely, Brazil. As a teacher at the University of Denver College of Law he was voted Best Professor. But that may have been due to his “nobody flunks” policy.
